Doi Inthanon Directions & Weather

Doi Inthanon Direction & WeatherIf you are from other parts of Thailand and thinking of spending your vacation up in the North, Doi Inthanon is one of the notable tourist attractions, and is considered the highest mountain in Thailand.

Directions
Doi Inthanon is situated about two and a half hours drive from Chiang Mai city. In order to get the Doi Inthanon, drive down the highway 108 towards Chom Thong. Then, follow the signs on the road to Doi Inthanon. For the entry fee to the national park, foreigners are supposed to pay 400 THB, and 40 THB for Thai people.

Weather
It is recommended that people coming to Doi Inthanon should wear warm clothes as the weather on the mountain top of Doi Inthanon is freezing. Also, Doi Inthanon will be fully covered with the sea of fog in winter, which is an exclusive atmosphere, and cannot be found in any other parts of Thailand.
